To: Book Lovers

I was browsing through fun new accessories and ran into these amazing clutches!  You don't have to be a book worm to look adorable walking around with one of these clutches in hand.  The best part?  It holds all of your precious belongings disguised in a classic story.

Olympia Le-Tan has created gorgeous book clutches with covers of Lolita, The Catcher in the Rye, Moby Dick, and many more.  These have been an accessory for the most gorgeous stars such as Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams.

The more affordable yet still unbelievably gorgeous book clutch can be found by Kate Spade.  This line of book clutches has a fun twist.  They are all bright and colorful with lots of love story covers like Romeo & Juliet and Pride & Prejudice.

Both Olympia Le-Tan and Kate Spade have mastered these lovely clutches.

No matter who's the designer and maker of the book clutch, it's a beautiful, fun and fashion forward way to accessorize an outfit.  It doesn't matter whether it's on the go for a lunch date, or out and about for an evening event.  You will look fabulous for every occasion with this adorable add-on.

With Love,
                                                                                       Liana Rose

Bohemian WIsh

This is my Wild Card Wednesday post! This set is one of my favorite Polyvore Creations! I made this a few months ago and realized I never got around to sharing it.  I still absolutely love all of these pieces from the cropped basic tee to the House of Harlow ring.  It's filled with soft girly fashion with a pop of edge and color.

Blooming Pastels!

The birds are singing and the sun is peeking through the clouds.  You know what that means... spring is here!  But more importantly it means pastel maxi dresses, chiffon floral skirts, tie dye and eyelet tops are in the air.  All of the gorgeous obsessions that grace the pages of every fashion magazine.

This season is filled with the most beautiful pieces from Dolce and Gabbana laser cut dresses to Louis Vuitton eyelet peter pan collars.  Even though we'd die to have Carrie Bradshaw's closet for a day, we can't always attain the designer's collections.  But we can still use it as inspiration to create our own fabulous urban runway looks.

That's why WhoWhatWear's style stalker "Jessica Stein" is my favorite inspire and introduction to Spring 2012.  Once I saw this photo displaying all of her looks I was smitten.  This is the first time in a while that every single outfit took my breath away and made me giddy with excitement for the sun to come out!

I encourage everyone to take fashion risks this season and do something you wouldn't normally do.  Wear pastel on pastel or a leather biker jacket with a sweet floral dress.  For example, my fashion risk was to wear a bright red/orange see through skirt with a mini skirt underneath and pairing it with a tan leather belt and mint cropped tank.  Who knows, you may end up being someone else's inspire for taking such a fantastic risk!

The best part is that you don't have to buy all new things.  You can use articles currently in your closet and purchase one great item like a statement skirt dressed with a basic white tee like Jessica Stein.  And remember that accessories will always change your look from day to night.  Have fun with it and show off your spring diva.

With Love,

Versatility + Style

We've all been guilty of having one purse that is way too big for us.  I know I have with my Timi & Leslie Diaper Bag (Yes... I said Diaper Bag) a.k.a. "Mary Poppins bag".  It's without question that I'm a full-time lover for oversized purses and satchels of all different structures, but my shoulders are slowly paying for it! Even though my huge Coach bag is filled with every important piece for any occasion, or as I like to call it, my life! It doesn't pay for the chiropractor appointments.  That's exactly why this small packed treat is my new obsession!
The Michael Kors Wallet Clutch for the iPhone.

The whole fascination happened when my friend came into town from Arizona.  The day unfolded as the usual with fashion catch up, showing off her new engagement ring! and filling in one another with all of the latest exciting news that has touched our lives.

Then it happens... that lovely "Harry Potter" ring tone coming from her iPhone that was beautifully incased with gold leather and a spot on the other side for cards.  It was all pulled together with a golden Michael Kors clasp and removable wristlet.  I immediately ask her about the gorgeous iPhone wallet that caught my eye (without interrupting her conversation of course) and asked all of the purchasing details.

Even though I'm not vegetarian, I have a "Peta Activist" in me when it comes to fashion.  So I ended up going with a knock off version of the iphone wallet.  And I couldn't have been happier.  Not only did I save a few dollars, but I ended up with the perfect package to take with me on quick errands or out on the town.

Now, you don't have to go my route and choose the knock off because the Michael Kors original is to die for! but whichever road you choose, I promise you will not be disappointed.

You can find it at the Apple Store for $79.95 or the knock off version at Amazon.com for around $22.00.  All available in Black, Red, Gold and Python.

With Love-

Bonjour Mon Ami!

Welcome to my blog filled with fashion, shopping and everything in between.
I have had a passion for fashion since before I could say Audrey Hepburn.  But not every toddler can afford expensive kitten heels like Suri Cruise. Yes... I was that child wearing a Minnie Mouse sweatshirt with stir-ups and dirty jelly sandals.  Thank goodness I eventually took control over what I was clothed in, but it didn't happen until I was 12.

In my tween years I would rummage through my mothers closet (like many other little girls) and found something that changed my world... vintage!  black suede knee high boots and turquoise floral shirts from the 70's.  It was then that I learned that a label is not everything.  Where do you think the designers  inspiration came from?  It's from the game changers, the movers and the shakers and the risk takers.  It's from the generations of women that came out with individual beauty, trendy style and made it their own.

Over the years I've developed a type of talent (not to toot my own horn) for finding clothing that has the appearance of designer, but with a lower price tag.
Through this blog I will share the love I have for clothing and accessories with others and how/where to find pieces in a reasonable price range.

Fellow fashion lovers all around, do not feel discouraged.  I have just as much respect and love for design as the next person. Which is why I will post my favorite designer pieces while we fade from one season to the next.  In my eyes, no one will ever paint a dancer like Degas, just like no one will ever make the original "Little Black Dress" like Coco Chanel.  There are some things that won't be capable of capturing the same beauty and life as the original.
